The Much Anticipated Loc Styles Video!

It’s finally done! The 5th and final segment to the braidlocs series is up and ready for viewing on my youtube channel! (or you can watch it right here!) Thank you for your patience on this much anticipated video. This is, in my opinion, the most fun segment and I hope you all enjoy it and feel inspired!

I LOVE styling B’s locs! It is so fun, fast and easy! B is not a very girly, girl. A few years ago she decided she wasn’t really into the whole princess thing anymore. For awhile she even hated the color pink, and didn’t want to be associated with that color at all! She has since loosened up a bit and will admit that pink is “alright” but certainly not her favorite!

As far as her hair is concerned she is often completely happy to just spray and go in the morning and not do anything else with it at all! On days that I have time I will ask her “Do you want me to do anything with your hair today?” Frequently she says “no”, but when she is in the mood, she is usually most happy with simple pig tails or a ponytail.

That being said, she (or I) will occasionally get in the mood for something a bit more extravagant. B wants you to know that her favorite style in the video are the french braids that were halfway taken out leaving curls in the back. (she forgot to say that in the video!) We both really appreciate the versatility that her locs provide us. When we are in a rush it only takes a minute to spray and go, but if we want, we can still do all of the cornrow, braided, and beaded styles we used to do before she had locs!

I feel like I have only touched the tip of the iceberg as far as creative hairstyles to do with locs. I can’t wait to try more new things and share them with you! We hope you enjoy the video! And of course, if you haven't already, please scroll down to yesterday's posts and find our first giveaway....entering is easy and it is open to anyone anywhere in the world!
