GUESS WHAT????
This is your chance to win a set of these prints FREE! Thanks to Katie Bradley the talented artist who created them! She is giving one of our lucky readers this great watercolor. ReplyDeleteGREAT PRINT. Do you know if you all plan to sell it as a t-shirt?
ReplyDeleteMy daughter, Fritzna, is a Haitian butterfly and I've always called her my flower...she's beautiful, inside and out. When we were in the adoption tunnel of darkness and had the opportunity to visit her in between our Gotcha Day, we had a very bonding moment together until I had to hand her back to orphanage for another 6 months...it was excruciating and during the wait of being able to bring her back into my arms, she was wilting and dying. The day that we were finally able to put her permanently into my cocoon-like protective arms, that little butterfly's wings spread wide with pride. She's now blooming and I've got a lovely flower given to me every day. Her room is covered in painted flowers and butterflies created by our own hands and of our closest friends who stood by us during our journey! <3 Our main challenge at the moment is her hair, which I look forward to happily learn something about from your site. :)
ReplyDeleteMy favourite is the one above - love it! My daughter's room will be new as we are moving. She wants raspberry pink and yellow!

ReplyDeleteMy child's room doesn't have a theme yet - I am in the process of adopting and I will wait until I have a referral. I think it will probably be bugs and bees for a girl or jungle animals for a boy.

ReplyDeleteMy daughter's room is ecletic right now. I printed pictures of all of her favorite characters (everyone from Yo Gabba Gabba), Princess Tiana and Tinkerbell on the color printer and then covered them with clear contact paper and stuck them up on her wall. The main colors in her room are pink and purple, but when she is able to express more of her opinions and likes then I'll change up the theme. Right now she loves looking at her walls and telling me all about the characters on her wall.
ReplyDeleteI'm already a fan on your Facebook page!
ReplyDeleteSince she's our only daughter, I went all out and revamped the nursery using Julia Cairns' Radiance fabrics. The prints depict African women in all sorts of daily activities in the most beautiful color palette! I love walking into her room everyday - it is so happy!
ReplyDeleteWhile I love Hair Time, I also think Timmy the Tired Tortoise is absolutely adorable!
ReplyDeleteMy 4 yr old daughter's room is a prehistoric paradise with a volcano on the wall and lots of dinosaurs wandering around (decals and stuffed and toys).

ReplyDeleteI tried to sign the guestbook but could not find it :)
ReplyDeleteOur three girls share a room, and it really doesn't have a theme. Just pretty turquoise walls, white furniture and bright, beautiful, handmade quilts from women at Amani ya Juu in Nairobi, Kenya. (We purchased them when we lived in Kenya for a year to complete our adoption.)
ReplyDeleteMy daughter's room is a work in progress. We recently switched her room, and are still in the process of decorating it. So far, I have a picture of elephants I took in Tanzania, and a cute Etsy print of 2 little girls. These pictures would be a great addition!
ReplyDeleteAfter visiting Katie's Etsy page, I still find "Hair Time" to be my favorite. I love finding art that represents my beautiful daughter.
